Predictions: Lawro v West Ham fans

|

BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson believes West Ham will suffer their first defeat of the season losing 2-1 to Southampton.

Speaking to his readers on the BBC website Lawro said:

“Southampton are without a victory so far but I think their performances have been better than their results in their first three games.

West Ham, meanwhile, have won two out of three and would have a 100% record if they hadn’t let their lead slip twice at home against Crystal Palace before the international break. This is going to be close, but I just have a sneaky feeling Saints are going to snatch the points here and end their wait for a win.”

West Ham fan predictions:

EXWHUEmployee says “I think we will win 2-0 because we really are on form and I think the new signings will give us an even further boost.”

Stelios Kyriacou from the West Ham Network “West Ham will be given the opportunity to show just how good this recent transfer window has been.
Expect to see at least one change with Zouma coming in to shore up the defence. With that in mind, Antonio is going to run riot against the Southampton defence. 3-0 West Ham and back to the top or the Premier League!”

Blogger David Hautzig from WestHamTillIDie.com “1-2 West Ham. The squad believes they are better than Southampton, and they are. Confidence and quality will prevail.’

American Hammer Jonathan Ross “0-2 to the Hammers. Zouma is a rock in the new back line.”

Claret and Hugh Associate Editor Sean Whetstone “Hammers to carry on their unbeaten run with a hard-fought 1-0 away win at St Marys”
