Pulis faces defensive dilemma against Irons

|

PulisTony Pulis faces a defensive dilemma with central defender  Jonny Evans available for tomorrow’s match after hobbling off in the 3-1 win over Hull at the beginning of January.

In his absence, Jonas Olsson started the matches against Derby and Tottenham and of late Craig Dawson has impressed in his favoured position alongside Gareth McAuley.

Dawson, who had a spell in the heart of Albion’s top flight defence under Alan Irvine, was dropped and recalled by replacement Tony Pulis to slot in at right-back.

But Dawson has made no secret previously of his desire for a run in the side back in the centre, and he is currently grabbing it with both hands.

With Allan Nyom back at right-back, having performed well on the left which Chris Brunt occupies, Pulis now faces a significant decision upon Evans’ return.

Think Dawson is injured. Poor Tony, spoiled for choice. That would be a nice change for West Ham managers ha ha.
