QPR, Toon and Swans know Rav’s price tag

Ravel-Morrison-2Offers for Ravel Morrison are likely to start at around £3 million should any of Newcastle, Queens Park Rangers or Swansea City move in for the  Hammers midfielder.

ClaretandHugh understand that Rangers and Newcastle are both interested but have yet to make up their minds finally on whether to launch a formal bid.

Swansea City have long been linked with a move but a source close to Morrison told us this afternoon: “There’s nothing definite there – just an official at the club telling us he is on their radar.

“However, once the bidding starts it far more realistic to think in terms of £3 million as a starting point

“West Ham have been talking in terms of £7m-£8m for Rav but that’s a lot of cash for a player who wasn’t a regular in the the first team and went out on loan to the Championship for three months.

“Newcastle are big admirers and with Rangers remaining interested any move from the Tyneside outfit would help the Hammers cause.

“It’s always better to have two or three clubs interested than seeing one have the field to themselves.

“However, there’s nothing imminent and Ravel himself is away on holiday but we expect something to break before pre-season starts.”

It is absurd that West Ham would even entertain the idea of letting Ravel leave for less than 20 million and here is why, he has electric pace with poise on the ball and with the right manager, certainly not sam allardyce, ( who needs to go as soon as possible) could easily be as good if not better than Neymar, BFS had been playing him as a holding midfielder ffs! when it is abundantly clear to anyone with some vision he should be played either as an attacking play making midfielder or an out an out striker, all he is lacking is to be shown the confidence and given the reigns to do what the hell he likes in the face of goal, would be a HUGE mistake to sell him and keep BFS, but you’ll see if he leaves us and BFS stays, within 2-3 years Ravel will be a star in Europe for one of the bigger teams and a star for England worth closer to 30 million not 3, 3 milllion, fckn rediculous, big fat sam out out out
