QPR boss Harry Redknapp claims he made no attempt to sign Morgan Amalfitano in the summer.
Reports have circulated that the former Irons boss was in for the 29-year-old prior to his move to Upton Park from Marseille.
But Redknapp said when asked“Not really, no. It wasn’t a position I was looking for,” he said.
“He was a decent player at Marseille, went to West Brom last year and did well. He is a good player.”
