2D89284900000578-0-image-a-2_1464295412476Roma have shown an interest in reprted West Ham target – Newcastle forward Georginio Wijnaldum.

Hs agent Humphrey Nijman, told RomaNews: ‘Wijnaldum’s situation right now is very simple. Newcastle have been relegated to the second division, so now the player has to think about his future.

The Holland international – who cost Newcastle £14.5 million – has been regularly linked as a possible signing for the Irons as a search for a striker goes on.”

Nijman said: ‘At the moment I can’t say any more, and I can’t talk about negotiations. Roma are a great club, one of the best in Europe. How much would he cost? I can’t answer that, it’s the club that decides a player’s price.

‘I only take care of Wijnaldum’s contract.’

We will be signing about 100 players by the summers end if all these rumours are true lol

I liked the look of him last season.I expect there is absolutley no substance to this story though lol

I think if we signed him he would offer us a lot in midfield / attack and would allow us to play 451 when we need to with Carroll up top.
