Report: Spurs make bid for Hammers target

|

Tottenham have made a bid for Atalanta attacking midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi, who is said to be a target for the Hammers, according to a new report.

Corriere di Bergamo reports that Antonio Conte’s side have made an offer worth £13m for the Ukraine international ahead of the January transfer window.

Malinovskyi has won 51 caps for Ukraine and has played for Atalanta since 2019, making 142 appearances for the club in total, and scoring 30 goals, while also registering 28 assists.

The 29-year-old can play as an attacking midfielder, as well as a central midfielder, and he also has the capability to play on the wings.

Per HITC, Calciomercato reported earlier this month that the Hammers were considering a swoop to sign Malinovskyi in the January window but it now appears that the north London club have taken the lead in the race to sign the player.

Atalanta are said to be giving serious consideration to the bid, although they would rather receive around £16m, so there may be some wiggle room.
