Richards deal and the Irons

RichardsReports that West Ham will “battle” for the signature of Manchester City defender Micah Richards this summer are wide of the mark.

Currently on loan at Fiorentina, he is expected to return to England this summer with allegedly  Inter Milan and Fiorentina, ourselves, Southampton, Stoke City, Everton and Aston Villa all chasing him.

West Ham were claimed to  interested in Richards last summer but in the end the club became disinterested at wages understood to be in the area of £70,000 and City unwilling to share the burden.

And ClaretandHugh was told today: “His injury record isn’t great and the wages are likely to be of an order that would see us look elsewhere.”

  1. Why do we need him with Reid,Tomkins,Ginge,Burke,Henry and Oxford he is over priced
And no better than we have,
Jenkinson or another real right back is more important and we been at least 2 midfielders
And one more forward in less Lee is going to be given a chance,
BFS TAKE RICHARDS WITH YOU TO ANOTHER CLUB

  2. No thank you. We are well placed in defense as long as we sign Jenkinson
