Rio grateful for time to make mistakes at Irons

|

RioFormer Hammer Rio Ferdinand says he is grateful that he was given time by West Ham staff and fans to make mistakes while at the club as a young player.

Speaking on his twitter account while watching Everton lose to Swansea this afternoon Rio said: “The Everton fans have got their young players in a nervous state here!! Looks like they wont allow them time to make mistakes & learn….”

“Makes me even more grateful that I was brought up at West Ham, where the fans & staff allowed for me to make mistakes while learning the game”

When challenged that he didn’t have the same pressure as John Stones in the media Rio added:

“Mate… you sure… I was hyped… The next Bobby Moore… Madrid & Barca interest etc…”

John Stones has been reported to be at the centre of a £50m transfer scramble this summer, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Machester City and Chelsea all keen to sign him.

For some obscure reason their fans think that their team is the mutts nuts. they can`t work out why a good young player would prefer to come to us; although i think everyone else can understand. they live on past glories and don’t realise that where they are is where they are gonna stay. by next season good young players like Stones, Barclay, etc are gonna get wise and want to go to aclub where they can win something. If Lukaku played for us we would be top of the league. How long until he sees that and wants to move on .Martinez has totally mugged himself off with his [ nah nah nah nah nah] statement. He denies he lets his players get away with brutal tackles.Like the supporters he is in total denial. What a chump. COYI X

Stone was disappointing, justice for what Martinez had to say about Sam Byram after failing to sign him, always respected Roberto but what he said was more like Sour Grapes,
