Safe standing rails on way to London Stadium

|

The Arena Group has been appointed to install safety rails for around 3,000 spectators at the top Sir Trevor Brooking Stand Upper Tier at the London Stadium .

These rails are to ensure a safe match day experience for both home and away supporters who persistently stand in these areas.

The Club says they are already in the process of directly contacting those Season Ticket Holders whose seats will include safety rails in the future, although the rails are unlikely to be installed until 2021.

While the new safety rails have been designed so as not to impact the enjoyment of supporters in these seats, the Ticket Office is contacting the supporters currently in these seats directly with full details and to answer any questions, as well as advise all of the options available.

The two recently-installed new stands in the Sir Trevor Brooking and Bobby Moore Lower Tiers have already been fully designed with any possible future developments with regards to safe standing already in mind so as to be compatible for future installation, to allow them to be adapted should there be any changes to Premier League guidelines.
