Saints no pushover but which Hammers will show up?

|

So tomorrow is the acid test …at least as far as I’m concerned!

For too many years we Hammers have suffered, wondering when a vital match is due, which West Ham United will show up.

They don’t come a lot more crucial than tomorrow and with those 10,000 fans inside the ground the team will have an added boost from our Hammers-live starved fans.

So what are we going to see – the Hammers which met Burnley or the one that struggled to break down Brighton and wasn’t 100 per ent convincing at West Brom.

Let’s hope that another team from the south coast, whose current form is hard to read as over the last six games they have won two, lost three and drawn one, con’t put it over on us.

Yes, this is a terrific Hammers team at its best should win but currently has an identical last six game record.

I expect no changes from the last team against West Brom but hopefully a far more convincing and offensive approach over the first hour.

A point will be great but like us all I want us to go out with a highly convincing win and put the team in great shape for next season.

Definitely got to be wary of the Saints. They’ve had some great results this season and some poor ones. Oggie on Ings if he plays. I predicted Diop on to play up front near the end against WBA- got it half right. lol. Benrahma to get his 2nd and third.

They are very good especially Ings and Ward-Prowse, we should imho start conservatively with a back three to deny Ings space and just get after them all over the field. Press relentlessly for 90 minutes and try to win by a few goals, a draw is good enough but if we can make it easy all the better, hw we finish may affect potentially incoming players attitude to how much they believe we can consistently compete for European places.

A back 3 when you hope to take the pressure off not let teams dominate
That will invite teams on, what are some people thinking off.
Let’s go and attack from the start. A poor start against Everton and Chelsea cost us. To defensively has done is no good. It will only frustrate the likes of Lingard and Benrhama.
Kill the game off early doors.

Southampton underperformed this year and they should really have been vying for Europe. If I were them, being spoilers might be second best thing.
WHU turn up and be master’s of their own destiny or things could go south.

I believe that we are going to win comfortably tomorrow.

This is the new and improved West Ham after all 😇
