Sam: “I was ready to start dancing”

|

AllardyceSam Allardyce was understandably delighted with the team after one of their best performances in a long, long time at Hull tonight!

He believed the Irons had won it at the end with with Sakho’s header and said: “I was ready to start dancing which isn’t a pleasing sight.

The Hammers were terrific on a night when Enner Valencia proved David Gold’s prophetic words to ClaretandHugh of a few days ago correct when he said: “He’ll cause problems to any Premier League defence.”

Allardyce didn’t believe there was much in the first half but was drooling over the Valencia wonder goal which put us back on level terms after the Hernandez opener.

He said: “What a strike of power and accuracy – it was great. I hope he believes he’s arrived in this League – he and Sakho worked really hard. It was good to get Alex Song on as well

He added: We will respect the point and I think we will get better as the players get to know each other better.”

What a game and what a performance! We were excellent tonight, give or take a defensive mistake or two!
A special mention must go to BS and the board who have really delivered!
IMO BS summed it up to a Tea in his after match interview.

If we can tighten up at the back and cut out the silly mistakes then we can look forward to not only the mousers, the manc’s but the rest of the season! COYI!
