It’s that time again when you pit your wits against David Moyes
Everyone likes to think that know better than the manager when it comes to team selection and who should start.
This week we are running our survey asking you to name your starting team for the FA Cup match against West Brom on Saturday at the London Stadium.
Fabianski, Ryan Fredericks, Felipe Anderson, Jack Wilshere and Yarmolenko remain out injured
We will calculate and publish the mean average of the supporters based on the best scores of the available squad.
Using the link below select a matchday squad of eleven players to start against the Baggies selecting one goalkeeper, one right back, one left-back, two center-backs, two defensive midfielders, two or three midfielders, and one or two strikers.
After selecting your starting XI please leave all other players blank and submit your entry.
We need to rest players like Ogbonna, Noble (drop) and Antonio (keep him fresh). With Fab and Anderson out, as well as Masa and Snods, I would play this team in a 3-5-2 Randolph, Zaba, Balbuena, Reid, Diop, Cresswell, Rice, Fornals, Lanzini, Haller and Ajeti. What I like with this team is 3 at the back, pace in midfield with Rice in Fornals, Lanzini in behind two strikers and then two strikers. If Moyes plays 1 striker tomorrow up top I will just give up on him. This is a great opportuntity to put a strong team out and also try some things out. We need to get 2 up top, we need to get Lanzini back firing, we need Fornals energy in midfield, we need Reid back in the team as he is a leader and we need Noble rested.
OK rest Noble but play Zabaleta?
Rice and Fornals don’t have pace. Hence all the calls for a pacey midfielder.
Lanzini couldn’t get in my pub team at the moment
Agree with trying a few things though. Maybe Diop beside Rice.
Fabianski, Billy Bonds, Rio Ferdinand, Bobby Moore, Julian Dicks, Scott Parker, Trevor Brooking, Payet (the non snake version), Trevor Sinclair, Tony Cottee, Frank McAvennie.
And then I woke up…
COYI!!!!!
