Sullivan slams door shut again as ‘dead story’ re-emerges

|

David Sullivan has once again repeated his position with PAI Capital after another lengthy media excursion by the would be (? ) Hammers takeover outfit.

After PAI  Nasib Piriyev spoke on The Athletic podcast claiming that he had offered the club’s owner a life presidency in the event of such a deal the chief shareholder once again reiterated his position.

Sullivan told Hammers news what he has told ClaretandHugh on various occasions in the past that he would never sell to the outfit.

The Hammers chief shareholder considers them to be a property outfit and totally unfit custodians of the club making it clear  he had no intention of ever doing a deal with them,

Pirivev – apparently believes he can talk for the fans as well drawing them into the situation when claiming that making Sullivan and Gold life presidents “wouldn’t be popular with the fans.”

That’s an assumption and generalisation denied by the latest protest held before the game against Brentford when just 200 turned up!

Talk about delusions of grandeur – Mr Pirivev needs to understand the door has been slammed shut on any takeover so why he continues to go about on it is known only to him and The Athletic who appear to be following a dead story.
