There’s lots we could do better at West Ham – Moyes

|

David Moyes admits West Ham can improve hugely amid their relegation battle.

The Hammers lie just one point above the relegation zone ahead of Friday’s clash with Brentford.

The Irons boss knows that he needs to pick up plenty of wins in the coming weeks if the Hammers are to keep him in post.

But he insists that he has enjoyed the challenge of improving the Irons, even if he knows West Ham still have plenty of room to get better as an overall football club.

He told reporters: “If you’re talking about here, I think this club has got so much room for improvement. It still has and we are trying to get all the right foundations down, trying to go in the right direction, trying to grow it.

“I think there’s huge room for what we can make, even this [buildings] we could make a difference, there’s lots of things that could get better here at West Ham. That’s why I’m enjoying it because I think you can try and add something to it. I think the three years have been good. I’ve enjoyed it.

“It’s been a challenge. I had to come back and prove myself as well and show I could do the job, and I’ve got to say the club have been great as well. Whether it be the owners or everybody who has been working here, they have been so good.”
