|

Three Football League clubs want to sign Aji Alese from West Ham, according to Football League World.

Cardiff City, Middlesbrough, and MK Dons are all said to be eyeing a potential swoop to sign the Hammers youngster.

Alese has made two senior appearances for the Hammers, and played in the Europa League last season, but he could well be sent out on loan next season.

The report claims that it is not currently clear if West Ham are planning to loan Alese out but they will make a decision soon enough.

Cardiff finished 18th in the Championship in 2021/22 and will be aiming to climb the league table, while Boro finished seventh, missing out on the play-offs by five points.

By comparison, MK Dons are a League One club but they are continuing to push for promotion, finishing third and sitting one point behind Rotherham. Dons lost in the play-off semi-finals to Wycombe.
