Things remain pretty quiet on the Irons front right now so I’ve been taking a wander through the list of free signings becoming available in the summer.
We of course have several of our own who will be looking for clubs but there are some very big names out there – albeit most getting on a bit – who Sam Allardyce might just take a sideways glance at.

Surprised to see Albrighton from Villa and Gosling from Newcastle without deals in place. Young British talent that could add to the squad? Not really in the Allardyce mould but both young pro’s with plenty of Premiership experience.
Lescott would be good, heitinga can do one, he’s getting what he deserves
