Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel looks set to include Armando Broja in the club’s pre-season tour of America before allowing the player a possible move.

We understand he wants to take a final look at the 20 year old before becoming involved in selling a player for whom the the Hammers are expected to bid £30 million.

A Claretandhugh insider close to Chelsea explained that Tuchel is eventually likely to sell the youngster and that £30 million looks about right,

He said: “First though he will want to take him to the States in a fortnight for the close season tour.”

The Hammers have made it clear to CandH that Broja is very much of interest and based on recent Chelsea sales the price being quoted seems accurate.

Tuchel sold defender Marc Guehi to Palace last season for around £20 million after the 21 year old had spent two terms on loan at Swansea.

He turned out in 45 games at all levels last season becoming an England international in the process and now looks a possible World Cu[ squad inclusion.

Tuchel also allowed defender Fikayo Tomori to join AC Milan for £24 million and last season the 24 year old made 42 appearances at all levels.

The general feeling inside Stamford Bridge is that Broja will be allowed to move on but the Hammers again will allegedly gave to beat Newcastle to his signature.

Think we should move on then and find other targets that are readily available. Too many times we’ve waited late in the window for strikers to become available until their not and it’s too late. Broja is a promising young player but not sure he’s the answer in the short term.

We need to get Players in trained together and ready to play for the Season. I agree let’s move on.

Seen an article on another hammers news site that Chelski are considering offering Ross Barkley in a deal for Rice. Not sure I would personally go for that. However, I believe it is inevitable that Rice is going to go, as much as I don’t want him to. I would then consider offering Rice to Chelski in part exchange for Broja, Gallagher and either Gilmour or Loftus Cheek. I think Rice may still have his heart set on Chelski regardless of what he says to media so think this may be a win win for many involved. Just my opinion.

We obviously aren’t going to shut down transfer business until we get an answer, other deals will still be pursued, So why should we move on. Next season, i belueve this player will be eay beyonf our ambitions so i think we should go all out to get him now. even if it means a two week wait!!

We must be looking elsewhere and must continue regardless. No reason for Chelsea to let him go straight away,, so move on our other targets which surely have been identified before now

I wouldn’t panic fellas, we will have a few offers on the go and it’s still June, I think we will get him.
I think their will be some nice surprises in store, have faith

Hugh, I thought the Watford duo of Dennis and Sarr were being considered – is there any update concerning them to your knowledge?

    • No just Broja at mo mate

      • Good Old Daze says:

Thanks Hugh. I like all 3. Fingers crossed for Broja.

        • hammerpete6 says:

Agree there Daze I think Broja and/or Dennis would do well for us up front and Sarr is explosive. Just don’t want any part ex deal with Chelsea for Dec and defo not Ross Barclay who could not hold a first team place at his last two clubs.
