United to give Irons Hernandez price

|

Javier-Hernandez-007West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has identified Javier Hernandez as his preferred striking option and the board are working hard to make it happen.

ClaretandHugh exclusively broke the news earlier this week that the club were in for the Mexican front man and we have learned  that talks will re-start by the weekend.

Whilst United are understood to have put a £10-£12 million price tag on the player’s head, the Reds have yet to make that official to the Irons negotiators but have said they will let us know by Saturday and Sunday.

A source revealed: “United have indicated that they will name their price at the weekend and as far as the manager is concerned, Javier is the preferred option.

“We understand the player wants a move to Upton Park. No doubt there will be other interest but hopefully the club can make this one happen. However, there’s a way to go.”

Maybe he can cover at right back John ?
Not sure at the moment how much of this bartering that’s going on is a game plan,
Slav won’t comment on this subject which is the first time he has kept quite,
We are being linked with Austin,3 Roma forwards, and at least 3 others,
I hope it’s a game plan to drive prices down,we can only buy one and maybe take one on Loan,

Oh stop moaning about every bloody player we go for John, lol, wow, you are starting to depress me 😀

Bilic wanting Hernandez is worrying for me, has no strength or pace, technically average, scores a few goals but for 10-12m I would expect a lot more. A poor choice and one I am utterly surprised with.

He will do for me,it’s not all about size ( did I really say that ) Tevez,Messi, Cottee,Defoe,
Ect,he scores and does not complain when he does not start,
Many of the forwards we have been after would not like being on the bench they want star billing,
Still would have a go at Joel Campbell he would be a good fit as well and cheaper and only 23

To be fair to the lad he aint done bad for somone who is ment to have issues with his physical side,lol,40+ goals in 70 odd apps for Mexico & played for a couple of the biggest teams in the world. You got to have something about you to get to the standard he has 😉

For me Hernandes has scored well so far but someone said he has issues with his physical side, but Austin doesn’t have those issues, and his scoring rate is higher in the Prem. Only thing is that Austin has only one year in the prem.
I would settle for either worts and all.

Would Hernandez as good as or better than Austin for us ?? ( As for Valencia Im still waiting to see If he can cut it for us ? ) at present we only have two real Strikers ( Carroll not fit ) and maybe a third in Lee in the future ? – I would love to see us offer QPR Nolan & Jarvis + Fee in a deal for Austin —- Sahko, Hernandez, Austin, Carroll,( Valencia ) — dream on eh ???

  • sleepswithdafishes says:

His record for man u is very good as far as goals is concerned, and thats after having to adjust from Mexican football.
Would be a good signing, at the right price ( of course )

  • Iron Man says:

If we can get him on board it will be fantastic.Really hope it will happen.

  • Navajo Warpony says:

He wants to start matches which I think he will get…Sahko, Valencia, Carrol and Hernandez look like a pretty formidable strike force.

  • wjo1974 says:

This would be a great signing and also gives different options to the front pair as he is a great finisher and feeding off of AC or Sakho this could be very very productive. I am one very happy Hammer at the moment. Think the 2 David’s deserve a lot of credit for the way that things are going.

    My preferred option too!

    Proven Prem goalscorer.
