Unlucky Byram may be back but no sign of Hugill!

|

West Ham fans may get the chance to take a look at an unlucky figure from the club’s past when Norwich City arrive at the London Stadium tomorrow evening (Wed).

Sam Byram – who suffered long term injury with us  – could make his fourth appearance of the season having featured against Villa  before Christmas and Palace on Boxing Day before appearing in the FA Cup victory at Charlton at the weekend.

Byram was a £3 million plus arrival from Leeds where he was seen as a huge prospect but the game didn’t treat him kindly and he was moved on to Norwich in 2018 after a couple of seasons having made just a total of 32 appearances.

However, another former Hammer bought by David Moyes in his first spell at West Ham – a certain Jordan Hugill – won’t be involved having been loaned out to West Bromwich Albion where he has scored just two goals in 20 appearances having managed just five in 32 during the Canaries Championship season!
