Vlasic deal closing in

|

Nikola Vlasic is closing in on a West Ham exit.

The Hammer has been on loan at Torino for the entirety of this season and a purchase clause has been included in the deal.

That is £12.7m and the Serie A club have been trying to lower the fee in recent weeks.

However, it now appears that he is finally closing in on a move to Italy, with the two clubs locked in talks over the final fee that will be paid for Vlasic.

It remains to be seen if it will actually be £12.7m but Torino are said to be very keen on bringing him into the club.

They admire his tactical flexibility, and believe that he can make an impact in Italy for seasons to come.

During his time with the Hammers, meanwhile, he has been genuinely awful and only managed to score one goal for the club at the London Stadium.

I think “genuinely awful” is a touch harsh, he didn’t get enough game time, it’s hard to make an impact if your only getting 10 mins at the end of the game, invariably one we’re chasing because the whole teams out of form?!

Moyes used him 15 times as a Sub, he actually started 16 games but was given ‘the hook’ 15 times, that’s 1 game where he started and completed the game – that’s not fair on the player. When I saw him I thought he did ok, definitely not ‘awful’ – Moyes didn’t know how to play him and treated him appalingly! 😳

I would remind you we paid £33.5 million for him and now we’re arguing about £12.7 million – this is the Economics of the Madhouse! 🤬

Another talented player woefully mismanaged by Moyes
