West Ham Reveal Rice Price

By Gonzo

Talk Sport presenter and ‘friend’ of the West Ham board Jim White, has today sensationally revealed that Declan Rice will cost any potential buyers a whopping £120 million.

Speaking during his daily show alongside co-host Simon Jordan, White revealed the eye watering sum then added that it was only the base figure. Any club seriously considering a bid for the Hammers captain would also have to factor in bonuses and add-ons as well as the initial figure of £120m.

The former Sky Sports anchor said, “It’s our understanding that £120m plus add-ons will secure you Declan Rice. We understand Man United bid £100m last summer and didn’t get him.”

Whether the news of Manchester City’s impending punishment for financial irregularities will impact the sale value remains unclear. But with Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all seemingly keen, there should be enough interest to prompt a bidding war.

It’s also not beyond the realms of possibility that moneybags Newcastle may enter the fray and bid for the England midfielder. Toon boss Eddie Howe spoke glowingly of Rice following West Ham’s 1-1 Premier League draw at St James Park.

  1. All depends on us staying up surely?
Relegation and the price would be nearly halved I’m guessing?

  2. Just a thought, but I’m not sure I’m the only one…, given Mason Mount’s situation at Chelsea, why not get him in the fold as soon as the summer window breaks it’s seals. He’d be with his best mate, and Declan won’t want to leave?!
