West Ham release statement on David Moyes future

|

West Ham have taken the unusual step in releasing a statement to pour cold water on an article in the Daily Telegraph  by Matt Law which yesterday claimed that David Moyes would be out of a job even if he saved West Ham from relegation.

The Statement reads: “The Club would like to place on record that it categorically refutes the claims made by the Daily Telegraph regarding manager David Moyes. There is absolutely no truth whatsoever to this story.

“As previously stated on a number of occasions, the Club and David Moyes agreed a deal until the end of the 2017/18 season, at which point both parties will sit down and discuss the future.

“Until then, the Board and David Moyes will continue to work closely together with the Manager having full responsibility of footballing matters and the full support of the Board.

“Everyone’s sole focus is on trying to achieve results for West Ham United.”

Moyes is doing fine except his dithering on transfers as usual needs to sort that out. And should get New contract and certainly don’t want fat benni from Newcastle well overated

+1 agree or Silva. And think dithering & only wanting PL players or British which he is open about takes a lot of talent off the table need a mix.

But he could decide to leave too if keep us up & her another offer. I would have list like Watford do & don’t want Rafa be the defense & like Silva but be a stepping stone for him & can be sure with him now.
Rather not got for big name who want big money.
Like to get in director of football & have Jokanovic who were keen on in summer won promotion for Watford plays good attacking football but can be balances & has plan B,C & D.
Lee Johnson Bristol, Rowett, Derby, Wilder Sheffield Utd. Real Betis’s Mgr.
Younger manager who will play good football & grow with club.
