ClaretandHugh readers have been voting in the people’s choice starting XI and the results are now in for Saturday’s Premier League afternoon game against Newcastle United at St James Park.

With 250 results in Fabianski remains in goal with 249 votes.

The backline consists of Angelo Ogbonna 194 votes, Issa Diop 186 votes, Craig Dawson 234 votes Arthur Masuaku 170 votes and Vladimir Coufal 247 votes.

Fabian Balbuena 24 votes. Ryan Fredericks 23 vote and  Ben Johnson 114 votes all fail to make the grade

Tomas Soucek gets 245 votes with his partner in crime Rice out injured so Captain Mark Noble stays in with 181 votes

In midfield is Jesse Lingard 250 votes and  Pablo Fornals on 233 votes with Jarrod Bowen with 248 votes upfront

Manuel Lanzini  10 votes and  Mipo 1 votes and Said Benrahma 97 votes all fail to make the gradeS
