I celebrated our three wins over Spurs last season as much as anyone else but I won’t be buying the £20 tee shirt announcing ‘The Treble- It’s happened again’.
The tee shirt is cringeworthy at best and makes us a laughing stock to other supporters. It was obviously intended as a lighthearted money spinner but Spurs fans are having a laugh at our expense.
What next? A T-shirt with a bus parked to celebrate our 0-0 draw with Chelsea?
I can see these tee-shirts in the sales by January together, heavily discounted with West Ham onsies and the nodding chairman.
It really is a good idea to think things through a little more than has been done here!
Perhaps after the season we had, taking the mickey out of other clubs isn’t quite the best idea!
