What to expect at Spurs new stadium in April

|

West Ham has yet to reveal ticket details for the Hammers away game against Spurs at their new stadium on 27th April.

The official website says “Following Tottenham Hotspur’s move into their new stadium, we are awaiting further instructions from them in regards to our away ticket allocation.  Once known and the relevant operational plans are assembled, we will release information concerning on-sale dates and Priority Point eligibility as soon as practically possible.”

However, with Crystal Palace and Huddersfield already playing there in the Premier League some details are already in the public domain.

The allocation for away fans in the new 62,062 capacity stadium is 3,003, rival team supporters have been moved to the north-east corner in Blocks 114-118 which can be accessed via gate 11. The closest station to the visiting section is Northumberland Park. Visiting supporters enter the from Worcester Avenue, Spurs advise away supporters to leave plenty of time as while the stadium has improved, the transport links remain overcrowded on match days.  Gates open two hours before kick-off.

All fans now go through “airport style” security checks and bag searches. Personal bags of A4 size or smaller (21 cm long x 30cm high) will be permitted into the stadium following a search.

The Spurs stadium is Cashless so Cash is not accepted anywhere in the stadium. They accept all major debit and credit cards and mobile payments such as Apple Pay & Google Pay.

Food and drink outlets open three hours before kick-off and The Elmhurst Arms on Lordship Lane is the designated pub for away fans.

A Wi-Fi network named ‘Stadium_guest’  is available throughout the stadium.
