Will he…won’t he make it as kick off approaches?

West Ham are keeping Winston Reid’s possible return to action this evening a closely guarded secret for this evening’s under 23 excursion against Wolfsburg in the Premier League International Cup.

Reid has been expected to make returnsĀ  several occasions this season but Manue Pellegrini admitted he was hopeful he could finally get into action tonight.

Much attention has been focused on the central defender and fingers crossed he will finally get some minutes under his belt at Rush Green this evening.

Apart from cameo appearances in pre season this will be the Kiwi’s first return to serious action should hemake it in an all conquering Under 23s side this season.

Hopefully this will be a real test for him as the team are seriously looking to progress in the competition this season having beaen Valencia 1-0 in their opening match in the competition.

The team should be announced over the next 20 minutes or so.
