|

Marseilles left back Jordan Amavi remains a talking point within West Ham given he becomes a free transfer this summer.

The Hammers and Leeds United have reportedly shown interest in Amavi, as well as Arsenal.

The 27 year old e moved from Nice to Aston Villa six years back after an injury ravaged spell at Manchester City

Once he had returned from his injury he played a major role being a regular starter for Villa, who at the time finished mid-table in the championship, before he decided it was time to head back to France and joined Marseille.

Italy side AC Milan have also been reportedly interested in Amavi, the Hammers are the most recent in terms of interest.

Amavi had made 48 appearances for Villa, since returning to France he has been called up to the French senior squad, but still is waiting for his first cap.

This season he has made 16 appearances for the French outfit and would pronbably be avilable at around £45k a week.

However, whether the Hammers boss decides to go in the direction of a left back with both Cresswell and Masuaku available remains to be seen given more pressing needs up front and in midfield.
