Sir Trev is left standing!

|

Sir TrevClearly this bus load of people have little respect for age of reputation.

It seems that Sir Trev is in Edingburgh today and quite happy to travel by public transport.

However when the great man jumped on board he found that he would be treated in no way differently to any other passenger without a seat.

And knowing the guy that’s probably exactly how he would want it.

They probably haven’t forgiven him for his 1980 goal against Scotland.

I traveled back from Portugal via Faro Airport a couple of years back on Easyjet and Sir Trev was aboard with his wife, he must have been there on behalf of the FA as he had the tree lions on his suit. No airs or graces he sat in the first row and everybody showed him respect and left him along apart from one tw@t. I stood next to him on the shuttle bus back at Stanstead, top guy (childhood hero) no billy big bollox a genuine bloke.

Walked around a golf course with him early one morning in a celebrity charity game,
Such a nice man and so down to earth,
    Crap at golf,
Then I walked around with Bruce Forsyth, moody, miserable man but thinks he is good at golf ( he is not )
Can someone explain to me how Manure have stayed inside the fair play rules ?
There 3 new players alone wages more then our first team,
And what they have spent on transfers.

Like all the big clubs they have secured sponsorship deals that make no financial sense for the sponsor but allow them to effectively allow them to abuse the FFP City are another as are Chelski, it is the football equivalent of Libor, FIFA must love it as it is their way of stopping the small clubs from having a good chance of breaking the stranglehold of the European big clubs…

The same way they can score a offside goal and win the shield but Nolan ‘s doesn’t count ???

I met Sir Trevor at Liverpool Street station last year. He was quit clearly in a rush but still took the time for me to fumble out my greeting and he shook my hand. I was in total awe of the man. such a nice chap. A real hero.

I have also met him on a few occasions the first of which at a school sports day along with Mervyn Day I can say he was so down to earth then and in all the years had not changed he and Mooro from what I have read about him seem remarkably similar that way.

‘Aha-aha-aha have I told you about that goal I scored with me head – aha-aha-aha!’
