Zaza talks update

|

Simone_ZazaClaretandHugh understands that Simone Zaza has agreed to join the Irons in a loan deal which will eventually be worth £26 million.

It will become a record breaking deal and the negotiations – which started at 7.30 am this morning – have now come to a successful conclusion.

At this stage it is not clear whether Juventus have signed off on the loan come permanent deal but we are told the player has agreed to join us.

The two sides met at the London Stadium this evening and  despite negotiations breaking down on a number of occasions they were finally picked up and brought to a successful conclusion.

A late move by Naples – who had bid £30 million euros – has been seen off and a source close to the talks told us a few minutes ago that all had now been sorted with the player although there was no confirmation from Juve’s end.

Zaza – we were told – was impressed by the stadium during the prestige pre-season Juventus friendly declaring it to be a great place to play football and had made it clear to his adviors that were he to come to the Premier League, West Ham was the club he wanted.

I like the look of him, he’s powerful with a good left foot and runs the channels well- he could do well for us. I wish him all the very best, him and Fletcher could have it away I reckon. COYI

Has this been on whufc site yet, doubt it.
l thought the paper work was all that needed to be signed.
All the other sites said that was all that it needed.!!!!!!
    Obviously not,

  • Stan The Man says:

Well it says it isn’t clear whether Juventus have signed it off.I suppose that is the paperwork isn’t it.

  • The Demon says:

Still worried that he’s not completely committed to us. If he’s really that impressed and keen to join us, why are talks breaking down through the day? Sounds like a right prima Donna.

  • TRB says:

I’m pleased it’s a loan deal initially…….. If he fails to deliver we won’t have to waste £26m!

  • Stan The Man says:

Why because he is negotiating the best deal for himself.Ffs we all do that don’t we when it comes to work.

  • noaksey1 says:

Sign the bloody contract so I can sleep tonight!!

  • Tone says:

Negotiations probably ain’t been going on all day but it sounds good.More exciting, like a dark smoke filled room where no one moved for 12 hours lol.Payet took weeks to make up his mind he must be a prima donna on an epic scale then.
