Bilic off to hospital

bilic crouchingHammers boss Slaven Bilic is set for surgery in the summer as he required a new hip replacement.

He has shown the effects of the wear and tear on his body in that area regularly on the touchline this season and the hospital visit is now right on his agenda.

Media reports this morning claim he will do so once the Premier League campaign ends on May 21 and that he could be laid up for five weeks.

The 48-year-old had one hip replaced five years ago but the effects of his playing career with West Ham and Everton among others have finally taken its toll.
