Balotelli blanked by Irons

|

BallotelliMario Balotelli has no interest in a Premier League return despite currently being linked with his former club Liverpool and the Irons.

The on-loan Liverpool striker is happy in Italy  on loan with his former club AC Milan after a woeful first season at Anfield.

And there has been strong speculation over the last 24 hours that the Irons could be interested in bringing back to England.

The controversial star was linked with West Ham over the weekend but ClaretandHugh has learned the Iron have no interest.

A Hammers insider said: “Someone would have to leave for us to consider bringing anyone in as there is no cash for purchases and we are up to our limit on FFP.

“He has also collected a lot of baggage. The manager has a great dressing room spirit going and wouldn’t want to take the slightest chance with that as he showed during the Morgan Amalfitano problem.

“We have four strikers and though there’s a chance that Nikica Jelavic may move on this window we would not be looking at Balotelli as an option.
