Chicharito free kick! Who knew?

|

Javier Hernandez scored a wonder free-kick from outside the box for Sevilla in a very Dimitri Payey style.

Who knew he could take free kicks? Certainly, that was not a skill ever utilised at West Ham!

Chicharito made his Sevilla debut in La Liga last week playing 20 minutes after coming on as a 70th-minute substitute against Alaves in a one-nil victory.

On Thursday night he made his full debut starting for Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League against FK Qarabag, he scored his free kick in the 67th minute to open the scoring for his Spanish team before coming off 5 minutes later.

The 31-year-old Mexican striker was sold for €7.8m (£7m) plus an additional €1m (£900,000) in add-ons

Chicharito signed a three-year contract with the Spanish club on £75,000 per week with an additional £500,000 bonus for Champions League qualification.

We never knew because the manager preferred to let other bozos take the free kicks who couldn’t beat the first defender or were hoping to get a spot as an NFL kicker and put the ball into Row Z.
And we never play anything but 1 striker up top. Chicha was utterly wasted at West Ham and I’m pleased that he’s getting a chance to play elsewhere
