Confirmation that the West Ham United hierarchy continue to have faith in David Moyes has come from ITK ExWHUemployee.

ClaretandHugh revealed last night that high ups at the club had made it clear that the manager was 100 per cent safe in his job.

They made it clear that there was nobody out there who could turn things around and that was again confirmed today by another key CandH contact

He told us: “There is absolutely no way David will be replaced and please don’t see that as a dreaded vote of confidence. He has made nearly £200k’s worth of signings and we trust him to make them work.

One only has to look at the last couple of seasons. He has done a remarkable job and we are convinced he will turn this around.”

Now Ex has declared on The West Ham Way podcast that he is getting the same messages thus making it clear that the manager will be going nowhere.

He said: “What the story is with Moyes is that I messaged important people at the club that would make the decision on his future, without naming names. And the answer I got back was a categoric that they believe in him.

“I’ll actually use the exact words from someone who would know what the future is. I basically said to him, is it true that the board are having doubts about Moyes and the words I got back were: ‘It’s 100 per cent not the case. What better manager is there to dig you out of a mess? And he has a massive credit in the bank for what is achieved in the last two seasons’.

What better manager is there to dig you out of a mess than the manager who created the mess and who refuses to change the way he sets up his team and the way the team plays… 🤔

I hear a lot of get rid of our current most successful manager since John Lyall but nothing about who might come in and lead us to the promised land!

  • Michael Miller says:

It sounds like the ‘dreaded vote of confidence’ to me – Moyes looks a bit lost to me at the moment, the Team and the tactics look a complete mess!

Let’s not panic but improvements are needed by the players !

Exactly right. Because we’ve got super Davie Moyes and I still think he’s the manager to take us into the champions league if he’s given the time.

I agree that two years ago when Moyes arrived he did a fantastic job and for two years all fans would have said his work at West Ham was excellent.
However, and you knew there was going to be of those, the preseason wasn’t acceptable his buying of players was questionable at best. Having spent sooo long on who to buy (and so late in the transfer window) why is he not playing them? His tactics or lack of them are a cause for concern. If results in Europe go against us there really is no hope for us this season.
I like most believe that Rice will be going maybe as early as January so that the board can cash in on him.
Moyes has worked his magic for two years but his slight of hand is now ‘old hat’ and that rabbit may be dead in the bottom of the old hat, most clubs have worked him out if decisions are delayed and Moyes does stay in his job a new magician and ring master May not be able to produce a new rabbit that’s alive!
Let’s see who returns fit and able to play after the break likewise let’s see what Moses’s excuse will be when his players returns and results are still not going our way. Message to the Manager…. If you lose the players and supporters maybe your job will follow!
