Exciting Hernandez update

|

Javier-Hernandez-007Javier Hernandez now looks firmly on his way to West Ham as the club close in on their major striker signing of the season.

There should be no late hitches in a deal that everybody associated with the club is now eagerly awaiting to happen.

However, it is now likely that it will be next week before the signing is clinched.

ClaretandHugh learned this morning that  the delay in putting pen to paper has been because the 29 year old is currently away on his summer holidays after competing for Mexico in the Confederations Cup.

He was given an extended break by his current club Bayer Leverkusen as a result but it seems that his next stop will be London and the Hammers.

There is huge excitement inside the club and  great confidence that the Hammers have got their man after the prolific front man had previously snubbed us in favor of the Bundesliga.

Not sure its that exciting to hear he is likely signing some days later than we anticipated and otherwise reported, but at least its not bad news I guess.

Later today, tomorrow, this week, early next week – and so on and so on.

Let me know when (if) it gets done.

G’day all, having been reading Hammersheadlines and that any player available in the universe we are after, I can confirm that an 11 yo in bumf**k nowhere scored a goal at school lunch time, the gk was a rubbish bin and the english press who where there to witness it will be suggesting that the Hammers are about to “swoop”, if it’s in the press it must be true so they think.

    Calm down chaps calm down.

This one will happen. I have a Mexican friend whose Mum is an ice cream seller working guess where? On the very beach where Little Pea is having his hols. My mate says he just got a text from his Mum saying this little guy was running up & down the beach saying he had become a hammer man & he couldn’t wait to start. He was looking forward to ‘Playing with the Noble One & The Big Lad Up Front who I have heard is unplayable on his day’. Has to be true, right?

I’ve just seen him ordering a Burrito in the Firebean Mexican Kitchen in Gants Hill. Must be true.
