Chairman David Sullivan has made no attempt to disguise his bitter disappointment at seeing the Irons again clobbered with another away draw.

After a great win over Blackburn Rovers everybody was hoping for a Boleyn Quarter Final bonanza. Instead we are on our our way to either Manchester United or Shrewsbury.

David was delighted with our high quality victory over Blackburn Rovers telling Claretand Hugh exclusively: “It can’t be right that we are drawn away again and again.”
But after a season which has seen us beat the best in the land he added: “That said and done we fancy ourselves against anybody these days.”
And he confirmed: “The league match against Manchester United could now become the last game to ever be held at Upton Park.
On the victory over Rovers, the chairman said: It was a great win. After a tough start there were a few moments of real magic.

But he added: “Arsenal get yet another home draw. I just wish we’d get Reading or ANYBODY AT HOME IN THE NEXT ROUND.”

Agree with Sullivan. So far we haven’t had any luck in this competition yet. No matter that Liverpool and MU are not the teams they were, they are still a tough draw away from home.
