Hackney Wick FC will be moving into the community track next door to the London Stadium as West Ham’s new neighbours from the 2018/2019 season.

The club announced “League table not looking good for us but take a look at our new home from 2018/19 whatever league we may be playing in. London Community Track Stadium adjacent to the London Stadium oh by the way  West Ham say hello to your new noisy neighbours”

They will be moving from their current Old Spotted Dog Stadium in Upton Lane, Forest Gate to London Community Track Stadium.
Bari Football Club was established in 1995 and played in the South Essex Football League until 1998. After leaving, the club joined Division One of the Asian League. In 2011–12 the club won the Essex Corinthian Sunday Football League. They then successfully applied to join the Essex Senior League, adopting the name London Bari. In 2017 the club merged with Middlesex County League club Hackney Wick, who had been founded in 2015 and played at Mabley Green in Hackney. The merged club took the Hackney Wick name and London Bari’s place in the Essex Senior League.
On 29th June the Wickers are staging an anti-knife crime charity match. Top UK rap and grime stars will come together to give hope to the youths through football, community and music.Hackney Wick FC and sister arm The Wickers Charity will put a team up against an all-star celebrity line-up including Dave, Not3s, Don E, Youngs Teflon, J2K, Tricky, Omz, J2K, Joe Black, Margs, Mercston, Don Strapzy and more to be confirmed.

Will the old Spotted Dog ground now be demolished for flats? The pub has been left to decay for many years now. Hope not. Spent many a happy saturday afternoon there.

I use to watch games at the Spotted Dog ground when I was a kid. I’m shocked to hear that it still exists

Anti-knife crime charity and Top UK rap and grime stars – in the same sentence? hahaha I would suggest that UK rap and grime plays its (large) part in knife crime.
