Club record signing Sebastien Haller dominated the Claret and Hugh West Ham player ratings at the weekend with an average score of 8.37 earning him the Claret and Hugh man of the match based on over 400 reader entries.
Felipe Anderson was in second place with n average score of 7.96 followed by skipper Mark Noble on 7.76. Manuel Lanzini came fourth with a score of 7.74 with Declan Rice last of the sevens with a 7.03.
Top of the six scores was Issa Diop on 6.93 followed by Fabianski on 6.84 then Arthur Masuaku on 6.82.
Angelo Ogbonna was next on 6.5 followed by goalscorer Yarmolenko who received an average score of 6.49 with Ryan Fredericks the last of the sixes on 6.17.
Only one player scored under six and that was Robert Snodgrass who scored 5.68 after coming on in the 71st minute.
Pablo Fornals 88th minute and Carlos Sanchez 85th minute were excluded from the ratings after playing less than ten minutes in the Hammers 2-0 home win over Norwich City.
If I had been allowed to vote, I’d have given Anderson a 10.
Anderson was unplayable. Just in front of Haller for me. With Noble, Lanzini, Rice & Diop just behind. Only dissapointment was that he brought on Snodgrass rather than Fornals. I love Snods but his lack of pace killed a number of our breaks. Dont think any of them deserved less than a 7 though. We were superb, should have scored 6 and it was one of the most enjoyable home games in years.
