Irons ready to wave goodbye to star

|

adrian-west-hamWest Ham are ready to allow goalkeeper Adrian to move this summer if they get the right offer for the Spanish stopper.

Sources inside the London Stadium have confirmed  that a new top line keeper is very much on their agenda and with Adrian’s contract due to end in six months they will not stand in his way.

The club has an option to extend for two years but should a suitable offer be made the Hammers are ready to let the 30 year move on.

Joe Hart remains the club’s best pick as a replacement and realise that he would cost them in the region of £100,000  week and that other clubs will certainly be joining them in the chase.

However, there’s no question that whether it’s him or not, the club is seriously in the market for the best keepers out there.

Adrian is rated at £7.5 million by www.transfermarkt.com but the Hammers would listen to offer of around £5 million.

Adrian is a good keeper. Not sure Hart is any better. Both prone to a rush of blood. I don’t think this is a position we need to look at just now. We should be looking for a new right back if Byram isn’t ready yet, and a decent finisher.

we have 2 very good goal keepers. Which I think is better than having one Joe Hart or a similar keeper. These two both know if they play well they have a good chance of being number 1 and periods when they aren’t playing well they are likely to be dropped. I think this keeps both keepers playing / training that little bit better which is better than having a obvious number 1. I believe money and wages should be spent on a right back and a striker(s). Similarly I would love us to sign Schneiderlin instead of everton. He could replace Noble in the first team… as much as I love him he does slow the play down and has not had the same quality as even last year!

Can’t really see a good reason to sell Adrian . Or a good reason to sign Hart .

We do have two decent keepers but we would be better with one World Class keeper that communicates well with their defence, Hart comes into that category although I can’t see us being able to sign him.

Hart is very prone to blunders and would cost a lot more than Adrian who I would like to stay

Personally I rate Joe Hart as a keeper and a lot better than what we have and with a winners mentality. We need players of his experience.

David James was criticised and got better near his 30’s.

If we could get him it’d be a major coup in my eyes.

Think, we need a striker, not a goalkeeper
