Lingard says he’s proud to be a Hammer

|

Jarrod Bowen saw it one way but Jesse Lingard viewed the point against Arsenal in quite another.

The two goalscorers – with the loanee also assisting Bowen’s – demonstrated how two players closely involved in the same situation can sometimes come to entirely different conclusions.

As reported earlier the No 20 was deeply disappointed and blamed the players for letting a three goal lead slip and of course his point is more than understandable.

Lingard, however, took an awful lot from the game and gave a strong indication of how his future might pan out in giving his feelings on being a West Ham player.

That was all terrific news and he chose to make his views known on his Instagram account where it became clear that he could barely be happier with his life in the east end of London.

He now goes away on international duty with England but before departing he declared: ”ย Disappointed not to take the 3 points, alot to take away from the game. This team have come along way and im proud to be apart of it. Onwards and upwards ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพย #coyiโš’ย #JL11NGZ
