David Moyes is sticking by his 40 point survival target declaring: “That would pretty well see us there.”
The manager goes into tomorrow’s game against Burnley convinced that any Premier League team beat any other as the season boils up to a frantic finale.
Speaking at his pre-Burnley presser he said: ” “This is the most competitive I’ve known it. Anywhere down from the top six anyone can beat anyone else and it will be tight for many teams.
We have lost too many games that we should have won or at least drawn . Our credibility has suffered and it shows every time certain pundits open Thier mouths . How we would love to shut some of them up ,,, but a lot .
Enjoy Miami and come back fit and ready and willing for the fight ,,, that’s all we ask
Make our Memories of Bobby , Geoff and Martin proud ones . Never to be forgotten .🏆🏆🏆🥇
This reportage of Mr Moyes’ description of the team’s edgy situation is underwhelming, facile even. Mr Moyes failed to strengthen the central defensive and striking positions, and has not brought pace into the side. It doesn’t require a FIFA coaching license to work that out. Achieving 40 points in all the messy circumstances will be a miracle. That said, Mr Moyes’ reported comments seem trivial when we consider how the soul of this club is being shredded by warring factions. Tragic.
9 points from the home games versus Burnley,Southampton and Stoke.Cannot afford to draw any of these home bankers.Quite simple really,But its West Ham and if we do not win tomorrow it throws a huge spanner into our survival plans. All guns blazing and put them to the sword tomorrow.
