No thanks! Former PL misfit linked to Hammers

|

So the madness starts – only about six weeks ahead of the transfer window – as reports emerge that a player who culdn’t  hack it in the Premier league last time round wants another crack at it!

And as is usually the case it’s West Ham that’s being named as a likely club for a winter window move which, let’s face it have rarely worked out for the club.

I regularly fail to get excited by the midwinter transfer market having seen so many failed loans etc arrive at the club.

And it would be a massive surprise were former Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa – now a free agent – turn out to be anything than another

TEAMtalk are responsible or claiming he Nigerian frontman wants a move back to England after his contract with Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr expired recently.

Known predominately for his pace Musa rose to prominence in Russia with CSKA Moscow when he scored 18 goals during the 2015/16 campaign, including one in the Champions League, earning his move to the Premier League.

However, he failed to adapt to life in England and was promptly loaned back to CSKA before moving on permanently.

Phew! Thought Jack Wilshere might be on his way back to help us become a proper class side when reading the headline. Hope we’ve given up on his type. Sounds like Musa would need a couple of seasons of rehabilitation, too. Not at all sure we are the right team to give him this chance and then ealuate his worth.
