Premier League trio scout Michail Antonio

|
antonio2212_726Michail Antonio has emerged as a target for Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton according to the Daily Express this afternoon. Last weekend the Sunday People claimed Manchester United are keeping tabs on Antonio, along with Everton.

Chelsea are also said to be interested in the Hammers man, with Antonio Conte apparently eyeing him for a wing-back role in his 3-4-3 formation. It is claimed scouts at United, Everton and Chelsea have been told to watch Antonio’s performances for the rest of the season. Jose Mourinho could go head-to-head with Conte in the summer in an attempt to unsettle and tempt the Hammers star, while Ronald Koeman may try to lure him to Merseyside. But West Ham hope that the 26 year old will soon sign a five and a half year contract worth £70,000 per week to commit his long term future to the Irons.

In January the Football Observatory valued Antonio at £31.8m in 100th  place in the one hundred most expensive players in the world. West Ham signed Antonio for £7m from Nottingham Forest.

Better start playing him in his preferred position and stop treating him like a utility player.
