Report: Irons misfit wanted by London rivals

|

West Ham misfit Arthur Masuaku is wanted by Fulham, according to a new report from the Daily Mail.

Masuaku has struggled for form and minutes this season and has only made five starts in the Premier League.

There are doubts in east London over his suitability to play as a left-back and he has struggled to convince at wing-back, too.

Nevertheless, it appears that Fulham are already plotting for their return to the Premier League, as they continue to lead the way in the Championship.

Marco Silva’s side are nine points clear of second-placed Bournemouth, having played a game more, and are very likely to return to the top-flight.

Silva worked with Masuaku at Olympiacos and it appears that he has added his former player to his shortlist for the summer.

Masuaku has a contract with the Irons until 2024 but it’s remarkably unlikely that the club will stand in his way if a bid comes in, due to his performances and his falling down the pecking order.

Both Aaron Cresswell and Ben Johnson are ahead of him in the pecking order at left-back.
