According to Darren Lewis in the Daily Mirror Slaven Bilic is trying to bring former Spurs defender Vedrean Corluka to West Ham. The 29-year-old Croatian is currently at Lokomotiv Moscow, but he spent four years with Tottenham between 2008 and 2012 and before that a year at Manchester City.
Corluka was an important player for Bilic when he managed the Croatian national team. Although his preferred position is centre back, he is also comfortable playing in the right back role. Slaven signed Corluka from Spurs for £5.5m in June 2012 on a 3 year contract which is due to expire at the end of this month.
