Surprise surprise-Dimi/United link arises on match day

|

payet3Speculation that Manchester United are interested in Dimi Payet has started again this morning via The Mirror.

It is of course no surprise that such a story should appear on the day we play them at Old Trafford and there are so many hedged bets in the piece it’s probably best not to take undue notice.

However, we bring it to your attention purely on the basis that we are here to bring you Hammers-related stories and the report claims: ” West Ham will resist any bids during the January transfer window but could be vulnerable to renewed offers in the summer.

That the story says we will resist bids in the January window avoids any immediate egg landing on anyone’s face of course and of course any club is vulnerable to nt bid in the summer!

It adds that the club has become more concerned about his subdued form this season although there are of course no quotes to back up that up.

ClaretandHugh has spoken to the club on at least four occasions about this particular story in the past and has been told on every occasion that there is no intention of selling him.

Indeed David Sullivan has claimed that he rejected an inquiry from Real Madrid unless the £100 million asking fee was considered.

So let’s all settle down and hopefully watch Dimi destroy Mourinho’s men later.

Certainly no surprise Liverpool, Utd, Arsenal and Tottenham are the worst exponents of this strategy always before you play them one of their opposing team is always the subject of a bid…
