Thousands miss out on what could be final ballot

|

Thousands of season ticket holders were left disappointed where they were told there were unsuccessful in the ballot for West Ham v Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

Among those unsuccessful were Hugh and Sean who – despite  an amusing popular belief  among many – do not get special treatment or preference from the club.

The 2,000 tickets were distributed amongst Bond Holders, Club London Corporate Hospitality members, season ticket holders, sponsors and some guests of sponsors.

Claret and Hugh have repeatedly asked for a break down of the allocation for the sake of transparency but to date that has not been forthcoming.

The ballot for Wednesday night could the last one for the year or beyond that as London looks likely to move to Tier 3 after Wednesday will would spell the end of football supporters in the London  Stadium again.

With the vaccine now being rolled out, the Premier League hope to increase the number of supporters in stadia before the end of the season in May.

That could, in theory, see up to 20,000 attending in person at the London Stadium in May.

Err, we might even get a couple of tickets over here LOL
