By Hughie Southon

Two Irons are walking a yellow card tightrope in the Europa Conference League being a yellow card away from suspension.

The Hammers will be travelling to Gent in the quarter finals having thankfully avoided the teams which could be considered the big boys.

We are now favourites to win the competition having completed a 6-0 aggregate vistory over the Cypriot outfit Larnaca on Thursday evening at the London Stadium.

Among the heroes was Divin Mubama who scored his first goal for the first team with a very clever side footed shot from lose in following a great headed knockdown by Tomas Soucek.

But the teenager picked up a yellow card soon afterwards having been booked on his full senior debut against FCSB in November.

Now he and the guy at the other end of the age scale – Angelo Ogbonna – are on two yellows with the youngster having been booked on his full senior debut against FCSB in November.

Gent is a tough draw. I remember they knocked Pochetinos Spurs out of Europe a few years ago. Not a team to be easily dismissed or taken lightly. I’m sure Moyes will prepare well for the games.
