West Ham to trim Season Ticket waiting list

|

West Ham have told supporters on the season ticket waiting list they will be removed if they turn down a season ticket for the second season running. In an article on WHUFC.com, the club say “Any supporters on the Waiting who have previously been offered a Season Ticket priority window, and are offered one again for the 2019/20 season and choose not to purchase, will be removed from the Waiting List.”

The waiting list which once stood at 55,000 was claimed by the club to now stand at 36,000 in March this year.

With a season ticket renewal rate of 94% of the 50,000 general season ticket holders at the London Stadium around 3,000 will be offered season tickets this summer.

Supporters want the club to be more transparent on the waiting list by telling those on the list what number in the list they are to manage their expectations of getting a ticket.

The club says supporters nearest the top of the Waiting List will be notified by email and SMS of their priority sales window to secure a Season Ticket.

I have seen so much being drunk and food eaten at a sporting event as I did tonight. If they can’t make a profit over these two games they never will!!
