Marko Arnautovic is being linked to three clubs as speculation again re-emerges over a possible move by the Hammers striker.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, a switch to Inter Milan, Fiorentina and Roma could be on the cards thisĀ summer.
However, according to his brother cum agent Danijel – talking to the same paper a few days ago – there have been no talks with by far the most likely, Inter, and he is no shrinking violet when it comes to pushing the case.
And given that Roma finished in sixth and Fiorentina 16th it seems hardly credible that he would swap us for either of them given the wages generally in Italy would be around half of what he gets in the Premier League.
Whichever way you want to cut it the salary would be a long long way behind what he was expected to be receiving when linked to the Chinese move back in the summer.
I think we can ignore this one but at the same tome expect it to run and run throughout the remainder of the window given the vested interests involved!
next season if all goes well arnie would be a bench player because our new striker will be better then him and our current midfielders are all better then him in midfield…there is going to be no space for him and payet where we to sign him ..but what a great bench to have…and since pells has a policy that if you play well you stay in the team i see the only problem being the youth missing out ….but hey lets go for it next season, sort out the youth when we are in the champions league….
Hopefully he gets sold sooner rather than later.
