Many congratulations to a Hammers-mad couple who tied the knot recently.

They pair promised to love, honour and obey but listening to the choice of music ClaretandHugh wonders to what and to whom – obviously to each other but probably also the mighty Hammers.

Take a look at this and smile as we all wish our best to Dan and Philippa Bartlett who married at Whippingham Church, East Cowes, Isle of Wight.

  1. My best friend at school and myself were married in July and October 1973 (not to each other, you understand) – he in Scotland and me in Southend. Most people at my wedding appreciated the significance of having Sir Bob on our cake, but the Scots were a bit bemused – especially when a group of Sassenachs started singing Bubbles.
